In August 17th, the Argentine government suddenly announced that it would launch a series of restrictions on imports of products such as tires, wheels, clothing, toys, leather, shoes, textiles, bicycles and computers, and clearly stated that such measures would mainly target Chinese products.

On the 24 th, a spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce said that the Chinese side felt unaware and unacceptable about the sudden action taken by the Albanian party to take no restrictive measures in advance. It expressed serious concern and reserved the right to take further measures.

It is understood that the measures adopted by the Arab government include non automatic licenses, the adoption of safety and quality standards, the strengthening of customs supervision, the control of low price declarations, the implementation of special duties, the commercial invoice of entry customs products, and the accreditation of embassies in China.

Moreover, the customs and Excise Department began to stop all customs clearance procedures for container containers and bulk cargo from China and some Southeast countries on the morning of 17.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce said that this action damaged the rights and interests of the WTO.

At present, the Chinese side requests the Arab side to issue customs clearance in accordance with the international trade practice.

At present, He Ning, our ambassador to Argentina and director of the US Department of Commerce of the Ministry of Commerce, have met with the relevant officials of the Arab government and the temporary agents of the Embassy in China to explain China's position.

It is reported that since August 23rd, the customs authorities have gradually resumed customs clearance procedures for container containers from Asian countries, but the customs's examination of customs declaration on consumer goods is more stringent than before.

At the same time, Albanian is issuing relevant legal documents.

Dr. Mei Xinyu, a researcher on international trade issues and a researcher at the Ministry of Commerce, said in an interview with Chinese reporters that the move of Argentine to such a notice without prior consultation with the Chinese government was a violation of the relevant rules of WTO.

Mei Xin Yu said that the above phenomenon also shows that the Argentine government's decision-making system is too prolific, and it is also because the Argentine government's policy decision lacks seriousness, so its execution is equally lacking in seriousness.

Therefore, we must have adequate estimation of the uncertainty of this country's business environment, but the industry should not be too nervous.

Mei Xin Yu further pointed out that I believe the people's government will do its best to resolve this trouble as much as possible, but we should consider how to reduce such incidents in the future.

This incident shows that in addition to some excessive reliance on price competition in our business model, we have too few friends in Argentine.

It is suggested that we should set up a number of scholarships for emerging markets with considerable capacity to subsidize their students to study in China and establish ties of affinity, so that they can enter the mainstream business and political circles after they return home, so as to further reduce such incidents.
