For young people, the World Expo is a wonderful class. To appreciate the world style, scientific and technological achievements and diverse cultures, teachers have prepared rich teaching plans to lead students into the classroom.


Experience the World Expo while traveling and learning in primary schools


The children of Xiehe Bilingual School in Pudong Campus are looking forward to the arrival of Friday. Throughout the Expo, the school will organize students to participate in the 3-day "Expo Study Camp" in batches from Friday to Sunday.


Lu Huiwen, vice principal, said that since Pudong Campus is adjacent to the Expo Park, the school decided to make full use of its geographical advantages to have a good "Expo class". After the opening of the Expo, the study tour camp was officially opened. Within three days, the children lived on campus. Every morning, teachers and volunteers from Shanghai University will lead everyone to visit the park in groups of 10; In the afternoon, I returned to the classroom to exchange photos, talk about feelings, and prepare for the next day's strategy; In the evening, the children's original art performance became a tour of the World Expo on campus. Before closing the camp, each group should also present their own blog observation report and make a speech.


Middle school students should learn to explore the topic


Whether you prefer science or liberal arts, you can find treasures in the World Expo. Shanghai Normal University High School, Xiangming Middle School and other high schools in the city will write Expo essays as summer assignments for students.


Feng Xin, the vice principal of Xiangming Middle School, told the reporter that all classes in Grade One and Grade Two of the school were divided into several groups, and they summarized nearly 100 small topics to be completed in the process of watching the Expo. Students have prepared detailed research plans and paper outlines. Looking for "Chinese elements" in the venues, looking for low-carbon life ideas, analyzing the cartoon styles of various countries... The topics of interest to students are all inclusive.
