French Clothing Sales Fell Sharply In June

This year, British sheep producers will receive "apparently increased" wool checks from the British wool marketing Bureau (BWMB), reflecting the high demand for wool, leading to price rise to the highest level in nearly 10 years.
Ian Hartley Hartley, chief executive of BWMB, said that the increase in auction prices over the past 12 months will benefit our wool producers. BWMB will maintain the prepayment of sheep farmers at about the same level in 2010. History tells us that we will not be able to control the sudden crisis, and that sudden crises may lead to price fluctuations."
