Textile Machinery Industry

China's textile machinery industry can be described as a full and perfect competition market.

compete

If China is not eliminated, it is necessary to speed up the pace of product restructuring and enhance its core competitiveness, which also brings certain opportunities for automation product providers.

According to the data released by the National Bureau of statistics, in 2009, textile machinery continued its downward trend in 2008, with slow growth, coupled with competition from foreign products and the impact of the global financial crisis, Chinese textile machinery enterprises are facing severe challenges.

By the first quarter of 2010, the textile machinery industry fell slightly, down by about 5%~10%, an increase of over 70% over the same period last year.

Under the dual influence of exports and domestic demand, the growth rate is expected to increase slightly in the second quarter of 2010.

The decline in the textile machinery industry has had a certain impact on the supply of automation products. Information from the National Bureau of statistics shows that the total market size of automation products in China's textile machinery industry in 2009 was close to 2 billion 400 million yuan, reaching 2 billion 390 million yuan, down 7% from 2008.

But in the first quarter of 2010, the textile machinery industry automation product market grew by 70.5% compared to the same period last year, a decrease of 9%.

As far as textile machinery products are concerned, the market capacity of traditional textile machinery with a low technical content has been greatly reduced, and the textile machinery products with high efficiency, energy saving and high added value have been greatly improved, which has brought a certain market for automation products.

Distribution of automation products in textile machinery industry

The survey also shows that the larger the scale of textile machinery manufacturing enterprises, the wider the product coverage, the higher the level of automation and information, the more automation products they use.

Automation is the only way to improve the performance of mechanical products and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. With the development and application of computer networks and power electronics, its importance is increasingly prominent. Its application in textile machinery will be more and more extensive.

The survey results show that more high-end textile machinery manufacturers have gone from the initial application of PLC, inverter, servo and other single automation products to the demand for comprehensive application of multi automation products and equipment network digital integrated manufacturing.

Most of the enterprises surveyed said that the textile machinery industry was affected by the crisis in the first quarter of 2010.

New products

R & D is relatively small, but in the second half of this year, the demand for new products is expected to increase.

However, most of the enterprises in the past have made technological improvements or upgrading before they continue in software and machinery. Considering the reliability and stability of the products, they basically do not change the configuration and brand of automated products.

The survey shows that the brand coverage of automation products used in the textile machinery industry is very wide. From SIEMENS, ABB, MITSUBISHI to Begala, Delta and Lenz, almost all automatization manufacturers can find their own users in textile machinery enterprises.

The questionnaire also showed that at the same time, more than three automation brands were used by the same textile machinery company at the same time. The questionnaire from Shanghai Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. showed that the brand of the automation products they used involved at least 8 brands, such as SIEMENS, ABB, Begala, Feinikesi, MITSUBISHI, Schneider, OMRON, Fuji motor and so on.

The smaller textile machinery enterprises, such as Changzhou Tong and Textile Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., also include at least three brands such as MITSUBISHI, Taida and Lentz.

Textile machinery enterprises purchase automation products

64 textile machinery manufacturers involved in the survey said they would buy new products in the next year.

Automation products

The survey shows that 55 enterprises will consider buying motor and drive device in the near future, accounting for 85.9% of the surveyed enterprises.

Frequency converter, as the main driving device, has the largest demand in the textile machinery automation market.

Previous data show that textile machinery users need 80 thousand to 90 thousand general frequency converters a year, and the dedicated frequency converters for components such as weft accumulator and grooved drum are about tens of thousands of units per year.

At present, AC frequency conversion technology is increasingly becoming the mainstream mode of driving three-phase asynchronous motor, and the growth rate of low voltage inverter is higher than that of automatic product growth.

There is still a certain gap between China's frequency converter technology and developed countries. The market of low-voltage inverter in textile machinery industry can be said to be firmly controlled by Taiwan and Japanese manufacturers. China's frequency converter manufacturers should seize the opportunity of upgrading and upgrading products in textile machinery and other industries for nearly two years to improve their strength.

Of the planned purchase automation products, second of them are industrial control products, and 52 enterprises will buy related products in the near future.

The survey shows that the industrial control products currently used by textile machinery enterprises are mainly PLC (64), servo system (55), human-machine interface (48), industrial Ethernet (38) and field bus (32), and the use of industrial control computer and machine vision is relatively few, 10 and 20 respectively, accounting for 15.6% and 31.2% of the participating enterprises.

Previous surveys show that most textile equipment can meet the control requirements of production process with PLC. Only a few devices have used industrial control computer and PLC to form control systems in order to achieve more complicated control requirements, such as sizing machine, new roving machine and some chemical fiber equipment.

According to experts from the textile machinery industry, the main demand for textile machinery is the various looms. Each loom has a small PLC on the average, which is mainly used for related detection, alarm, speed control and machine start and stop.

Although the number of spinning machines is less than 5% of the total number of textile machinery, the PLC used on the spinning machine is relatively large, and a single spinning machine usually uses more than ten PLC.

The number of carding machines is about 12% of the total spinning machine, mainly using small PLC control.

Other types of textile machinery are basically controlled by PLC, and some relatively simple equipment uses single chip microcomputer or other control methods.

However, with the upgrading of the textile machinery industry, the application of special controller and IPC, especially the application of the fan free industrial control machine, is gradually gaining popularity in the textile machinery industry.

In addition, 31 enterprises said they would buy the corresponding software, 30 enterprises said they would buy power supply and voltage stabilizing equipment, and 26 enterprises would purchase automatic instruments.

The number of enterprises choosing general electrical equipment is relatively small, only 15. In the subsequent telephone survey, respondents said that the basic products such as general electric apparatus, electrician and meter were not updated rapidly, and the procurement department often procured ahead of schedule at the beginning of production.
