The price of cotton market is relatively stable.

The US Department of agriculture (USDA) forecast this month that the end of the new year's global cotton stocks will be substantially reduced to the lowest level since 1994/95, and cotton supply is still tight.

However, before the new cotton market came into full market in the northern hemisphere, it was hard to come to a conclusion.

India's Ministry of Commerce announced that cotton will liberalize exports from the new year of India, easing the tension of the market and reducing the possibility of price inflation next month.

It is not yet clear whether the government of India will restrict export volume in accordance with the requirements of the textile industry.

With close attention to this information, a large number of cotton exports are expected to be registered in September.

In the short term, India cotton has strong competitiveness in China, especially at the beginning of next year.

Before the harvest of new cotton, the rhythm of US cotton sales was controlled, and the import of Chinese enterprises did not start.

China Cotton Association recently lowered the output of new cotton by 100 thousand tons, and the cotton yield per unit area in the Yangtze River Basin has been reduced.

The delivery of reserve cotton is still in progress and must be imported.

Enterprises are also concerned about changes in supply and demand.

How to balance the supply and demand in the new year also needs to be seen in the future market.

The reason for the recent market price stability is inseparable from the fear of flooding in Pakistan.

The import volume of cotton in Pakistan has increased significantly, and the specific loss of output will not be determined.

India has plenty of news that its domestic textile industry is frustrated that India cotton will resume its freedom from 1 October.

The Textile Association of southern India pointed out that it would be premature to make such a decision to liberate exports in the two months before the arrival of the new year (October 1st).

The association also pointed out that the announcement of the resumption of cotton export freedom caused a large number of new purchases by India exporters, which will result in insufficient supply of cotton in the early part of next year.

The North India Cotton Association points out that the new export policy will drive up cotton prices.

In addition, the India Industrial Organization (TEA) believes that the release of cotton exports will detrimental to the domestic textile industry, and they hope the government can ban cotton exports by mid January next year.
