Zhongshan Customs Seized Nearly 1500 Pairs Of Fake "K2" Sports Shoes

March 10th, the reporter learned from the Zhongshan customs, recently, the Customs seized 1490 pairs of goods suspected of infringing "K2" in the freight channel.

When customs officers stationed at Zhongshan port office of Zhongshan customs inspected the exported sports shoes of a company in Zhongshan, they found that the goods were marked "K2" on the outer packing and goods.

However, in the customs protection and filing system of intellectual property, the customs did not find the company in the "K2" licensee column, and later contacted the trademark owner and the obligee in writing to confirm that the goods had infringed the exclusive right to "K2" trademark registered in the General Administration of customs.

The customs reminded the small and medium enterprises to enhance their awareness of intellectual property protection, and log in before the import and export of goods, and log in to the Customs General Administration's application management system for the Customs Protection of intellectual property rights, inquire about the record and authorization of the relevant intellectual property rights, and avoid unnecessary economic losses and legal liability for infringement of goods.

Since the special action against intellectual property rights and counterfeiting and shoddy goods was launched in October last year, the Zhongshan customs has seized 20 suspected cases of infringement, including 2 million 289 thousand yuan and 25124 goods involved in cargo pportation and inspection channels. It destroyed 27800 gas confiscated goods, including the gas stove that infringes the exclusive rights of the "National" trademark, and the scented tea box, which infringes the exclusive rights of "China 2010 Shanghai World Expo" Expo logo.
