The "National Commodity Center" opened four free entry fees in Changning, Shanghai in the second half of the year, providing free rent and experiential retail.

Yesterday, Li Yaoxin, the Changning District head attending the Hongqiao trade forum in Shanghai, told reporters in an exclusive interview that Changning will work together with Shanghai Business Council to build an important bearing area of Shanghai international trade center.

One of the key projects, the "National Commodity Center" will be put into trial operation in the second half of this year, and the preferential rate of foreign merchandise retailing is comparable to that of duty-free commodities.

The first four "national commodity centers" located in the new Hongqiao business circle and the Hongqiao comprehensive pport hub will open in the second half of the year. "The French and Italy Commodity Center is located on the third floor of the world trade mall, with a total area of 52 thousand square meters. It will introduce hundreds of brand goods such as France and Italy, clothing, leather goods, wine, olive oil and so on. The French Street and Italy Street will be set up in the center. Besides the commodity exhibition and negotiation, 1/5 of the regions will provide experiential retail services to consumers in the form of experience centers. It is estimated that in June this year, people will be able to try French wine with various spaghetti and try all kinds of wineries here."

Li Yaoxin told reporters that the podium building of Shanghai Yangtze River Risorgimento Hotel is being rebuilt and expanded. It will open as a German Commodity Center in October this year, with a total area of 10 thousand square meters.

If it goes smoothly, the Japanese Commodity Center, located at terminal 1 of Hongqiao airport, will also open within 15 thousand to 20 thousand square meters.

The price is no more than 2.5 times the purchase price.

Is there any market potential in China? First of all, it should be tested at the "National Commodity Center".

Xu Jing, director of the international brand management center of the China International Trade Association, said that the experience retail center set up in the "National Commodity Center" is directly oriented to consumers. Because all products do not receive entry fees, all brands are free of one year rent and are very competitive in price.

Xu Jing said: "in Shanghai shopping malls, the average selling price of foreign goods usually reaches 3.54 times the price of the purchase, and the increase rate of imported clothing and wine even reaches 6 times and 30 times.

In the "country commodity center", the commodity retail price shall not exceed 2.5 times the price.

According to this estimate, the imported goods will be more than 30% cheaper than other domestic stores.

Successful trial marketing will be extended to the whole country.

Li Yaoxin said, "the national commodity center" allows countries to adopt different ways of operation, for example, the Japanese Commodity Center will pay attention to the function of the bonded, while the German Commodity Center will focus on the promotion of manufacturing and technology products. For example, the "country commodity center" is like the nursery stock of foreign commercial products in the Chinese market. Each country has selected hundreds of products "small seedlings" to be trained by the "National Commodity Center", and has grown into a new gateway after being grown up.

Mr Ren said that the mission of Changning's "National Commodity Center" is to test which commodities are suitable for China.

Successful marketing will be sold to 20 cities in Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Ningbo, Tianjin, Chongqing, Chengdu and so on determined by the Ministry of Commerce.
