World famous brand Repeated "quality gate" caused concern. In order to boost the confidence of local consumers, the upcoming new version spin The mandatory standards of the industrial country will carry out more comprehensive and strict control on toxic and harmful substances.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced on the 9th that the new version of the National Basic Safety Technical Specification for Textile Products (GB18401-2010 for short) will be officially implemented on August 1 this year. Industry insiders believe that as the only national mandatory standards and regulations in the textile industry, the introduction of the Code will encourage textile enterprises to use more environmental protection additives, which means that the market share of environmental protection additives is expected to increase significantly in the future.

Prior to that, world famous clothing brand ZARA has entered the "blacklist" for seven times. Recently, another international brand H&M also became“ quality The new protagonist of "Gate". In view of various concerns, the new version of the "Code" is more comprehensive and strict in the control of toxic and harmful substances.

The person in charge of the department said, "The Regulations will become the regulatory basis for the State Administration of Import and Export Inspection and Quarantine to supervise the import of textiles, and enterprises that do not meet the standards will not be able to enter the Chinese market."

Industry insiders believe that under the strong supervision of the competent department, textile enterprises are bound to strengthen the management of raw and auxiliary material suppliers, so as to expand the use of environmental protection additives.

Taking the PH limit as an example, according to Kong Liping, director of the National Fiber Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, in recent years, excessive PH has repeatedly become the "culprit" that leads to unqualified clothing. "In fact, there are already environmentally friendly textile auxiliaries in the market that can be used by garment enterprises instead, but some small enterprises are still using polluting auxiliaries."

A person from DeMei Chemical (002054, Guba) told reporters that at present, about half of the world's textile auxiliaries are environment-friendly, while China's environment-friendly textile auxiliaries only account for one third of the existing textile auxiliaries. "With the strong promotion of the competent department, the utilization rate of environmental protection additives in China will inevitably increase."

According to the research of China Textile Association, more and more textile enterprises have begun to select qualified suppliers. This means that printing and dyeing leaders such as Zhejiang Longsheng (600352, Guba), Transchem (002010, Guba), and DeMei Chemical are expected to benefit.
