Jeans Sales Are Expected To Reach US $14 Billion 700 Million This Year.

According to the company's report, about 98% of the jeans in the US retail market in 2010 were imported, about 604 million 900 thousand.

China, Mexico and Bangladesh are the top three jeans suppliers in the United States, accounting for about 68.4% of total imports.

As of May this year, Mexico continued to maintain the largest supplier of jeans for men and adolescents, accounting for about 41% of total imports, while China became the largest supplier of jeans for women and girls, accounting for about 44.2% of total imports.


In the first quarter of this year, jeans accounted for 12% of the retail market in the United States (excluding children's clothing), according to the Cotton Corp retail survey (Retail Monitor).

At the same time, almost 3/4 of the jeans in the retail market cost less than $39.99.

The average retail price of jeans is $37.41, which is slightly higher than the US $36.24 in the first quarter of last year.

Women consider more factors when buying jeans.

The style is the primary factor, and 83% of the female respondents think it is very important.

Women also take comfort (77%), favorite appearance (71%) and price (66%).

Style and comfort are equally important for men. 66% of men think these two factors are very important, and less than 50% of men think price is important.


Another survey by Euromonitor International found that jeans sales will increase by 4.1% to 14 billion 700 million US dollars this year.

Consumers buy jeans because of it.

Durable

Compared with other clothing varieties, price is not the most important factor in jeans purchase. These jeans continue to occupy a place in the retail market and continue to be the basic clothing in the consumer wardrobe.
