It is believed that textile science and technology should continue to develop and progress, and it is urgent to expand the basic theoretical research of textile science, and all innovations must be integrated.

In addition, Professor Zhu Meifang of Donghua University and Professor Tao Xiaoming of Hong Kong Polytech University discussed the topic of "design and construction of polymer based nano hybrid fiber" and "development of textile science and technology and modern human civilization" respectively.

In order to encourage more talented people to join in the development of textile industry, this year's conference has established several awards.

Professor Yu Jianyong of Donghua University won the "2011 China Textile Academy Award". Cheng Bowen, Hu Jinlian, Jiang Gaoming, Shao Jianzhong, Shi Mei Wu, Wang Rui, Zhou Huatang, and Zhou Huatang eight textile talents were awarded the honorary title of "2011 China Textile academic leader".
