The three companies' earnings also reflect a reality: the days of endless burning of electricity suppliers are gone forever.


From the perspective of net profit, all three companies are in a state of deficit.

Net loss totaled $28 million 600 thousand, of which Dangdang lost 15 million 800 thousand, the largest one, while vip.com lost $8 million 600 thousand and Mcglaughlin lost $4 million 200 thousand.


"From the cost of electricity providers, they have been working hard to cut costs, it can be said that the electricity supplier's burning money has come to an end."

Liu Bing, an analyst with Guotai Junan, said that the market downturn and the difficulty of financing are already changing the profit model of the industry itself.


Lu Zhenwang, an e-commerce analyst, believes that the NASDAQ bubble has collapsed more than 90% of the vertical electricity suppliers. China may also face such a situation this year. There may be cases of mergers and acquisitions in the future.
