"Professional Fashion, Decoration Life" National Women Workers Clothing Design Competition Begins

The National Women's workers' post innovation skills competition, jointly organized by the National Federation of trade unions, the Ministry of human resources and social security, the Ministry of health and the National Women's Federation, was officially launched in 2012.

As one of the events of this competition, the costume design competition jointly organized by the China finance and trade textile and tobacco trade union, the National Federation of trade unions, the women's staff committee, the China clothing association and the China Fashion Designers Association entered the stage of collecting works.

Women workers in garment enterprises and related institutions can enter the competition. The deadline for application is August 31st.

The purpose of this competition is to promote the implementation of the strategy of strengthening the country through talents and the implementation of the national outline for medium and long term talent development plan (2010~2020), implement the State Council's Guiding Opinions on the development of family service industry, implement the 5 year plan of the National Federation of trade unions to strive for excellence and make contributions to the work, and implement the project of improving the quality of women workers in order to further stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of the female workers, enhance the professional moral quality, innovation ability and skill level of female workers, train and bring up a knowledge-based, skilled and innovative high quality female workers team that meets the requirements of the times, and mobilize the majority of female workers in the country to make positive contributions to the implementation of the 12th Five-Year plan objective and task.

This dress design competition takes the theme of "professional fashion and decorating life" as the theme, and designs clothing for women's needs in the ordinary occupation field and the new occupation field to show the new style of women in all walks of life in the new era.

The competition is divided into two parts, preliminaries and finals.

The top ten players in the final will be named "the national female workers to make contributions to their career". The outstanding players will be awarded the single prize.

At the same time, the provincial units with excellent organization will be awarded the medal and certificate of the excellent organization, and the provincial and autonomous regions will be awarded honorary prizes at the provincial level.
