Reporters learned from Houjie town that the first phase of the world shoe base project will be completed by the end of this year and is expected to be completed and put into operation in the second half of 2013.

The first phase of the project's global brand investment has been launched recently, and the first planned operation time is at the end of 2013.

The world shoe industry headquarters base in Houjie Town is invested and developed by Huarui Industrial Investment Co., Ltd., which is positioned as the high-end comprehensive headquarters service platform of shoe industry.

The project has become a leading project in Guangdong's industrial pformation and upgrading, and a key construction project in Dongguan, Guangdong.

The total area of the project is 160 thousand square meters, and the construction area is 480 thousand square meters, which is divided into five parts, namely, A, B, C, D and E. It is completed in three phases.

The planned investment of 2 billion yuan can accommodate nearly 5000 business enterprises and solve the employment problem of 20 thousand -3 million people. After the completion of the project, it is estimated that the annual turnover will reach 60 billion yuan.

The first phase of the project will be completed by the end of the year, which can accommodate more than 1000 enterprises.

The first phase of the project covers an area of 27349 square meters, with a construction area of 110 thousand square meters. It is composed of 4 storey podium buildings (nearly 800 independent property rights shops) and 27 thousand square meters office buildings, which can accommodate more than 1000 business enterprises. As of the end of September this year, the world footwear headquarters base has invested 129 million 220 thousand yuan this year, accounting for 71.8% of the annual investment plan.

The two phase project covers an area of 34 thousand square meters and a building area of 100 thousand square meters. It will break ground next year, and will plan to build an international shoe storage logistics distribution center (bonded warehouse and Customs Service Center).

48 industry associations and brand enterprises from many countries at home and abroad signed the intention cooperation agreement with the world footwear headquarters base.

It is learnt that after the completion of the world footwear headquarters base project, it will have three core functions: the world.
