Anti-Dumping

Italy Footwear Association (ANCI) 7 claimed that the association has submitted documents to the European Commission to request the export of non sports shoes from China and Vietnam to the EU 27 countries to extend anti-dumping duties. Now the anti-dumping duty on exports of non sports shoes to China and Vietnam will expire on October 7th.

The decision of the Italy Footwear Association means that there will be more controversy over the implementation of anti-dumping measures by the European Union. Anti-dumping measures will create cracks in trade policies between countries with strong interests in the footwear industry within the EU and those with no interests. The anti-dumping duty will remain on the agenda of the European Union in the next 1 to 2 years.

Artioli, chairman of Italy Footwear Association (Vito Artioli), said the association will submit the necessary documents to the EU to ask the EU to extend anti-dumping duties.

And he claimed that the footwear associations of other European Union countries also submitted documents required to extend anti-dumping duties to the European Union.

After the relevant experts discovered that shoes manufacturers dumped their shoes in the EU market at low price illegally, after 06 long debates, the Italy Footwear Association and trade organizations from 13 European countries persuaded the EU to impose anti-dumping duties on non sports shoes.
