The promotion of new technological achievements in biological degumming "not only can greatly reduce energy consumption and chemical raw materials, reduce sewage discharge and treatment costs, but also help improve the properties of hemp fibers, so it is highly concerned and praised by the textile enterprises.
In the promotion activities, Professor Cao Junwei of Wuhan University first introduced the "successful selection and degumming process optimization of efficient degumming bacteria", which can replace the strong acid and strong alkali chemical process for biological degumming, remove 70% of the gum from the original hemp, and then refine it with low concentration of charcoal and auxiliaries.
