HSBC spokesman confirms termination of joint global PMI index with Markit

It is understood that the HSBC Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) compiled by Markit, a research institute, is a monthly survey of purchasing managers from over 400 manufacturing companies, and then reports are released according to the information collected.
