Object of solicitation:

The first "Changshu Cup" Chinese men's wear design competition will be for the whole country, including the independent designer of Chinese original brand, the in-service designer of domestic garment enterprise, the fashion designer studio and the institutional designer, the fashion market cluster development designer, the clothing department teachers of the major clothing colleges, and the designers who want to develop in the men's wear area.

  


  

Work requirement

[request for entries]:

Requirements: 5 men's clothing.

1+4 mode.

The 1 set represents the fashion trend of the season and the capture of one or more popular elements for divergent deduction. It shows the standard of men's fashion design and shows the depth and potential of creation.

The 4 set, combined with the popular elements of the first set, was introduced to the floor, and designed the commercialized design that accords with the requirements of mass production and sale in the market, and even more landing, so as to enhance the speed and quality of landing production and marketing.

In order to show the ability of design and pformation and the ability to grasp the market.

Each group has 5 sets of entries, with a sense of entirety, which meets the design theme and purpose of the competition.

Entries focus on originality, have a clear sense of fashion, pay attention to the combination of creativity and practicality.

The design methods, processing techniques, materials and accessories are not limited, and the overall arrangement includes shoes, hats, belts, satchel, accessories, etc.

The entries of this competition require attention to the innovative interpretation and artistic creation of "new wave" from the aspects of design concept, culture, material, color, technology, etc., with a unique perspective to rebuild the understanding of "innovation" and break through the limitations of single elements, and strive to serve the perfect integration of creativity and ingenious conception.

[entry guide]:

Participants are required to provide the following relevant documents:

1. color or black and white effect map: size 27cm x 40cm, the effect map above the top left marked the name of the work, the lower right or another page is not less than 4cm x 4cm fabric sample or fabric reengineering;

2. style structure chart: including each garment structure drawing or process drawing, design theme explanation and design conception;

3. Competition Application Form: register form only print, do not stick on the back of the effect picture, and attach one color to my picture.

4. a copy of my ID card (positive and negative).

All participants' information (including personal information) must be true and valid. If they are supplied with false materials, they will be disqualified.

The entries must be original designs and unpublished works, and shall not infringe upon other people's intellectual property rights. If any violation occurs, they will be publicized and disqualified from the society through the media.

The list and effect map of the shortlisted athletes, the winners of the finals and the works will be publicized by the authoritative media such as textile and clothing weekly.

The finalists should attend the dress rehearsal, award presentation and related publicity activities according to the schedule of the organizing committee.

All works of the competition will not be returned. Please keep the final draft. The finalists will be owned by the Organizing Committee and the naming merchant.

The organizing committee has the right to propagandize, brand implanting, publishing, performing and organizing related activities for all entries, and to use pictures and images in any form without paying any royalties.

The final interpretation power of this competition will be returned to the first Organizing Committee of the Changshu cup Chinese men's wear design competition.

  

Competition process

Application for submission: February 1, 2018 to March 30, 2018 (postmark of postal address, not supported)

Preliminary review: early April 2018

The competition adopted a mentor team model, which was first evaluated in early April. After 3-5 days, he went to Changshu with his tutor to conduct fabric selection and production guidance.

Garment making: mid April 2018 to mid May 2018

Finals and awards ceremony: 2018 Jiangnan fashion week (between from May 20 to 24, 2018)

  

Awards

1 gold prize, 150 thousand yuan RMB.

Silver award 1 bonus 80 thousand yuan RMB

The bronze prize is 1 RMB 50 thousand yuan.

The award of 15 awards is 5000 yuan.

The best teacher award is 1 RMB 20 thousand yuan.

(all of the above bonus amount is pre tax and personal income tax is paid by sponsor).

The above 18 winners can also receive the following Awards:

1, landing Award: A. gold, silver, bronze award, you can get a designated studio in Changshu clothing city area, rent free for 2 years, equivalent to about 300 thousand yuan.

Or one of the designated shops in the urban area of Changshu clothing, free of rent for 2 years, equivalent to about 300 thousand yuan.
