Antonio Carles

(Antonio Calce) is the chief executive officer of Sowind Group, which is effective immediately.

He will be responsible for the brand management and manufacturing business of Suzhou wind group's GP PERREGAUX watch (Girard-Perregaux) and JeanRichard (JeanRichard), and report to the chief executive of the Kai Yun group "luxury watches and jewellery", Abbott Bensoussan.

Abbott Bensoussan, chief executive of jewelry department, said: "I am very pleased to welcome Antonio Carles (Antonio Calce) to join the cable wind group under Albert."

His rich experience in advanced clocks and luxury watches, as well as his deep understanding of industry and business risks, will support him in leading the brand in the international market.

Antonio Carles (Antonio Calce) is an Italian with a degree in microtechnology and management.

In 1994, he served as head of the technical department of the Richemont (group)'s luxury watch and jewellery brand (Piaget) tabulating factory, and then turned to product management.

In 2001, he served as director of operation and product development department of Panerai, a senior watch brand.

In 2005, Antonio was appointed Vice President and chief executive officer of Kunlun Montres (Corum).

Sowind Group belongs to Kering group, located in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland. It operates tabulation business and develops and manufactures high-end machine and mechanical watch products for its brand and the three party.

Its two brands include GP PERREGAUX watch (Girard-Perregaux) and JeanRichard.

The 42 year old Alessandro Michele graduated from Rome Fashion Institute and served as a senior accessory designer in Fendi.

He joined Gucci in 2002 and gradually took charge of important design responsibilities in the design department. In 2011, he was promoted to deputy director of Frida Giannini.

In September 2014, he was appointed the creative director of Gucci, the famous Italy porcelain brand Richard Ginori, which was acquired in June 2013.

"After careful and comprehensive consideration, Alessandro Michele was appointed Gucci's new creative director," said Marco Bizzarri, President and chief executive of Gucci.

This appointment is based on the contemporary vision that he can actually embody as a brand.

Alessandro and I have reached a consensus on the brand new vision that Gucci needs urgently.

In the future, we will continue to use our contemporary vision as a source of inspiration in our respective posts.

"Alessandro's talent, coupled with his understanding of brands and the tacit understanding of the existing design team, will undoubtedly help him quickly implement his creative direction for all series and brand images." Marco Bizzarri continues to add: "the Gucci men's 2015 /16 autumn and winter series just released in January 19th has been realized by the excellent cooperation between the men's design and production department. This shows that Gucci is ready to move forward in a new direction."
