Lithuania is located on the east coast of the Baltic Sea. It looks across the sea from Sweden, north to Latvia, southeast to Belarus, southwest to Kaliningrad and Poland to Russia.

From the capital Vilnius to any big city in the four Nordic countries, it takes a maximum of two hours.

As a member of the Soviet republics, Lithuania has traditional economic ties with Russia and other CIS countries.

But Lithuania people from their living habits to the social and economic environment, are self identity is a Nordic country, rather than the "Soviet Union" country.

Secondly, Lithuania's regional economic cooperation is mainly in the three parts of the Baltic, Nordic and European Union.

Lithuania joined the European Union in May 2004 to implement the EU's unified foreign trade policy and abide by it.

European Union

Economic and trade cooperation with other countries outside the European Union has been reached with the agreements reached by third countries.

The products produced in Lithuania belong to the products of the EU origin and are free to enter the EU's big market.

Thirdly, it is reliable to do business with Lithuania people and engage in business activities in Lithuania with high safety index.

Lithuania's political and economic stability, laws and regulations are perfect, and its citizens are highly educated, have a strong sense of responsibility, attach importance to honesty and credibility.

The Baltic

The textile and clothing exhibition was founded in 1992 and has held 25 sessions.

The exhibition has been expanding rapidly since 2011. In the twenty-fourth exhibition ended in 2015, there were 392 enterprises from 22 countries. 34% of them were international exhibitors, mainly from Latvia, India, Italy, Pakistan, Portugal and Poland.

There were 10500 spectators, of whom 82% were professional spectators from 25 countries.

Many professional spectators came from Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Estonia, Norway, Finland, Russia and Poland.

17% of the professional spectators went to the meeting to look for brands of production and processing enterprises, 25% were wholesalers, retailers and department stores, and 23% came to find fabrics, technologies and services.

Textile and clothing

Manufacturing enterprises.

According to the organizers of the exhibition, Lithuania is a major producer of traditional textile and clothing in Europe. After joining the European Union, its main textile and garment export markets are four Nordic countries and Germany and the United Kingdom.

During the exhibition, there will be a large number of professional spectators from the above countries to the exhibition site to find production enterprises.

The participation of Chinese enterprises in the exhibition exhibition of the Baltic textile and fashion show is a good opportunity to expand the Nordic and central European market.

In addition, due to the high cost of labor in Lithuania, some textile and garment manufacturers will find cooperative manufacturers after receiving orders. This is also an opportunity for Chinese manufacturers to cooperate directly with local enterprises in Lithuania.

Moreover, there are fewer Chinese businesses and Chinese people who are doing business in Lithuania, which means that the first entrant can get more business opportunities.

After conducting a business visit, the exhibition showed that there were fewer than 1000 Chinese people in Lithuania.

The responsible person of Lithuania Convention and Exhibition Center is also very optimistic about China's development and the opportunities brought about by China's "one belt and one road" construction. It is very optimistic about the prospect of China's textile and apparel brand exhibition from China.

The organizers also said that the four Nordic countries are a large market due to the high level of economic development and the high level of income of residents.

In 2015, China's clothing exports to the three Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden and Finland) amounted to US $3 billion 90 million.

Clothing products exported to the Nordic market are generally of good quality and high prices.

Textile and garment enterprises to participate in the international textile and garment exhibition in Lithuania are conducive to the development of new business opportunities in Scandinavia and central Europe when the export situation of textile and clothing is not good.
